About us

Our service and repair workshop is your best source for quick and reliable vehicle repair. We care about your safety and will save you time and money. For over 30 years we have served the area's business and domestic repair needs. We offer competitive prices, reliable experience, and efficient service in our family run workshop.

We've always asked our customers what else they would like from us and due to very popular demand, we've moved into much bigger premises (only 175 yards down the road) so we could fit in a new addition to the business, a class IV and VII MOT testing bay which has now been up and running for over 6 years. We have dealer level diagnostics equipment and we now also do Autologic performance tuning! Our MOT testing bay is one of the first automated MOT test lanes in the area which means it can be operated single-handed. This means that our other technicians can work on your vehicles without interruptions.

MOT's can be booked by phone or email. If booking by email, please send your name, phone number, a date and time that is most convenient for you to bring it in and your vehicle make, model and registration. We will get back to you as soon as we possibly can to let you know it has been booked in.

Conveniently located near Shaftesbury in Dorset, our family run work shop is your best source for professional and reliable service and MOT. Adrian has been in the motor trade for over 40 years and at Semley Lan-Trac 4x4 Ltd since 1996 and bought the business in 2001 after the previous owner retired. Established in 1984, our highly skilled technicians, Adrian, David, Bjorn & Ralph offer comprehensive knowledge and experience. You can be sure that your vehicle will be handled with the latest dealer level diagnostic equipment and that everything done to your vehicle will be explained to you in layman's terms. We are Land Rover specialists but we also work on most cars, vans and 4x4's.

For your convenience, we can pick up and drop off your vehicle locally. We may also be able to provide you with a loan car for the day, please call ahead to double check. Our goal is to provide the best service at very good rates.

Parts and accessories

We sell parts & accessories (genuine or patterned) to the trade and general public, from nuts, washers and bolts right through to a whole new chassis! We also sell seat covers, de-icer, water pump grease, swivel grease, fuel line cleaner, diesel system cleaner, brake & clutch fluid, just about anything you want for your Land Rover and most cars and vans. We keep most land rover parts in stock but If we haven't got what your looking for, we can usually have it waiting here for you the next day if ordered before 2.30pm. All parts genuine and pattern are sold at competitive prices, please ring or email us for a quote.
